Shoes in Bed

Posted By Miss Jocelyn Tzahala on July 17, 2010 | Category: Crack Me UP!, In The Life Of A Country Girl, LucyLillie

I set my alarm to get up early (than usual) today because there were some Torah discussions I wanted to be up to listen to, but I was too tired. When I finally decided to get up, after being awaken several times by voices in the other room, I slipped on my croc shoes and stood up. I must have stood up too fast (gotta be quick about some things before I change my mind, you know) because I was dizzy. I sat back down on the bed for a minute until I could see straight, but somehow instead of getting up, I fell back asleep.

(sleep and I have a hate-love relationship…. I hate going to sleep and I hate waking up)

Ahem.

Anyway, later when I was serving lunch Luli (3) starting laughing and remarked how hilarious it was that I had went to bed with my shoes on.

Oy vey!

Shabbat Shalom – hope your shabbat has been as lively as mine. Now, I wonder if I could get Eric to get me a coconut out of the tree?

Hehe! I would have loved to do the same thing… fall back into bed and sleep… but I had to get up super early to milk for the neighbors, go to a breakfast at 7, and run to a film shoot where I did the makeup.

This was after getting woken up at 11:30 because someone texted me (Roar. Jen does not text), and then 2:30 with the dog barking at some visiting wildlife on the porch, then screaming like she was getting mauled to death or something. We rushed out there, and she was perfectly fine and happy to see us. *sigh* And then to add insult to injury, a coyote installed himself in the trees next to the house and yipped for an hour.

You should make Eric get you a coconut because there are starving children in Africa. Or because there is a girl in Washington who absoballylutely loves coconut and is totally envious of your tree, and he should get a coconut for you to enjoy because the girl in Washington can’t and would hate to see them wasted. Think it’ll work? Me neither.

Enjoy your Sabbath… I’m going back to bed now…

This made me smile! :D Especially since I also have a love/hate relationship with sleeping! I’m not sure I’ve ever worn my shoes to bed, but last week at the fair I was so tired I somehow got comfortable laying across two what-a-chairs and fell asleep in the middle of the llama tent :D At the fair though, at least down at the barns, if you see someone sleeping, everyone understands!

    HUGS!

    Same here with sleep.

Hubby often wears shoes to bed. Too funny! Will Lucy Lillie keep the covering on her head all day? Imagining Dalton keeping something on his head all day makes me laugh. Ah, littles :D

Ha no! I can barely get her to keep her hair put up! No, she wore that to the park to shield the sun. :)

*giggle* that’s funny. It’s hard to believe she’s actually three years old.

I like sleeping, but I despise sleeping in. On the other hand, I often find it hard to wake up enough to get out of bed on time when I feel so doughy. In the morning. Of course, once I’m up I love it! ;)

Welcome

Shalom, welcome to A Pondering Heart. I hope you will be challenged by what you read here and it will cause you to search deeper and deeper into the Word of YAH. My name is Jocelyn Tzahala.
