Celebrations!

We’re going to be celebrating a few things around here and I wanted to invite you all to celebrate with us!
“It is no bad thing to celebrate a simple life.” – Bilbo Baggins
You’re invited to the celebration of Miss Jocelyn’s 17th birthday! The party will be on Saturday, May 10th, which will start at 1pm-ish. It will be here at the Dixon’s house….
Sorry there won’t be a Pride & Prejudice ball (maybe for my 18th!), but we’re planning on having a cookout and a campfire with hot dogs and s’mores. That is if the weather is nice, but living in Indiana, you never know.
You’re welcome to stay the night, but please let us know by April 25th if you’re staying the night because space is limited. I will be having some friends stay the night, and you’re welcome to! Please bring your pillow and blanket.
Obviously, I know there are some who will not be able to make it, but I wanted to at least invite you and you know I was thinking of you and wish you could come. :) Hey… you could always hitch a ride, right? LOL
I hope you can all make it. It’s going to be a blast!
Another thing I am celebrating is the fact that I finally made Rachel a new template! I promised her several months ago I’d make her one, plus I didn’t like the way the other one look. I messed up on the graphics, and I had made it quite a while ago so I wanted to spruce it a bit bit…. and this is what I came up with: Milk & Honey TeaRoom
I am working on a matching blog-ad for it, which soon be done soon and posted, with the code, on her blog for those who wanted to link to her by putting it on your blog. :)
Attn: Mothers and Daughters! We’re also getting ready to celebrate Mothers, because God bless them, they are the best! My mom has always been a constant support in my life, even when I don’t like what she is supporting me about… like being nice. Haha Growing In Grace Magazine is honouring mothers by doing a special article in our May issue! We’re inviting girls to submit some things about their moms… you can find out more info by clicking on the image below! You and your mom could be featured!
And the last thing I am celebrating for now, at least, is LucyLillie is almost walking! She has been standing up by herself and taking one step before she tumbles, but it is so precious! I got a picture of her standing all by herself. Ok, so I posted the picture of Lu standing, but I cropped it down so you could barely see anything on the sides of her or behind…. Ta-da

*g* Sure, I’ll come over for your party! It’d be an awful long walk, though… :-/
Does that ever happen to you?
What, have stuff on the floor? All the time! That’s why you should post that picture of LucyLillie! :-P
Now I shall run over and see what the ‘Celebrating Mom’ deal is. I missed the one for Dads, and I was sorely disappointed…
Blessings,
Jen

I wish SO BAD that I could come! Maybe hitching a ride isn’t such a bad idea…LOL
Oh, we NEVER have stuff on our floor…ok, more like we never don’t have stuff on the floor. You should post the picture anyway. :)
I really want to do the FFC with you all, and kind of am, but I can’t post pictures because we got a new computer and the camera is being weird about loading pictures on it…grr. But I did work on my handwriting last week! *smiles*
Much love,
~Nikki

Happy Birthday!!! I hope the party is a complete success, but I live in CO, so… I’m not coming. :P Lol…
I enjoy doing puzzles – the 3-D one was actually easier than most. We did a VERY difficult one right after we were done with that one… I just posted a picture of it, actually. :)
Well, you have a great day!! ~Erica

I could use your help. I am trying to survey as many women as possible to find out what ten struggles they face as a Christian woman. If you have a few minutes, I would love your input on my blog in regards to the ten struggles that Christian women face. Thank you!
Please pass this on to your friends as well.

Yes, I know.
I’m really sorry, I thought maybe my comment was a bit too . . . . judgmental, and you know I totally did not mean that that way.
You really have encouraged and strengthened me in my spiratual walk, and I am very thankful for it.
Keep up the good work Joci! :)
Love,
Kate
P.S. I sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo wish I could come down for your b-day . . . but I cant . . . *cries*

Hey Miss Jocelyn! Thanks for stopping by on my site sorry I havent updated. With baseball things get a bit hectic. A game or practice everyday. Happy birthday… well at least in like a month and a half.
Haha. It seems like not to long ago my 6 year old brother was taking his first steps. I’ve also had the joy to see well, all my younger cousins take their first steps (My extended family lives pretty close and we see each other every sunday and wednesday at church.)
I hope you enjoy your party.
In Christ,

How sweet…my little L.E. Fant is just pulling herself up to a stand, but hasn’t tried that first step, yet. She is just so happy to be standing…she bounces and giggles and delights in being able to see what is going on one foot higher in the world. :)
