The Dixon Blogoversary Party!
Today is my 2nd Blogoversary as well as Rachel’s, and then further in the week Mother Dear and Amanda celebrate theirs too! Wow can you believe I’ve been blogging for two years already? It seems like ages ago when I first began, met great friends, and how little I knew… about many things.God certain has used blogging in my life in wonderful ways that I cannot express in words. He has also taught me many lessons, and enabled me to teach and share. I’ve been blessed through blogging with friends and even some great prizes (Mother Dear even won a $200 printer).
I have been so blessed to have been given the opportunity to meet many bloggers, including “The” Suarez’s, Paulie, Levi, Sharla, Brielle, Timothy, and a quite a few more.
If I was still blogging on my HSB blog I would have a total of 5,499 comments, 323 posts, and 264 friends. Whew. I am currently writing/running seven blogs. A blogger actual just commented this week about how many posts I had, which made me laugh (she just started). However, on A Pondering Heart I just hit my 1000 comment the other day. I decided I would keep tract of when I hit certain comments. Here are the A Pondering Heart comment “Hall of Fame”:
100th Merry
200th sharla~
300th sharla~
400th Timothy
500th Jessica
600th Brielle
700th Joy

Congradulations on your blog anniversary!! It has been great reading your blog, even if I really disliked you for the first year. LOL
But God spoke to about that one. God bless,

It took be a little over two years just to get 1000 comments, and you haven’t been blogging here for very long and you already have 1000. You defiantly have a bigger readership! LOL!
I will not be participating as I just one 23 dollars cash in a different giveaway, and I’m kind-of tired of blog parties and giveaways right now. I’ll put the icon at the top of my blog to let others know though.

Hello,
That sounds like a lot of fun! Mine is in 39 days. That means you have been my friend for almost a year because I asked to be my friend two days after I started blogging, and what a blessing you have been!
I would love to join your contest! I love contests.

Congrats on your family’s blog anniversary! I saw it on Amanda’s blog yesterday but didn’t have the time to comment, so while I have a couple minutes before I head off again, thought I’d say something.
Blessings and prayers!
* Edited because I can’t spell today, lol.

I posted about it on The HomeSpun Life but with a link to your moms blog. When you get the code up I’ll edit my post and add it in.

Wowzie! Two years….goodness! I guess it’s been close to two years for me as well (in April).
And a thousand comments here already!
RYC:
Yes, Man Who Shot Liberty Valance book is very close to the movie. It’s a short story, though, so they had to expand it a lot in the movie, but that’s okay. You should defintley see the movie–I love it! It is one you have to watch at least twice to really appreciate it; it is one of those movies that “starts at the end” and then flashesback, so you don’t fully understand the begining tilk the end. Other than that, it’s really good–I really love John Wayne’s character in it!

Happy Blogoversary!! I love reading your familys’ blogs! Talk to you soon…

Happy Blogoversary! :) Wow…two years! I’ve only been blogging one year.
But, I’m redoing my sidebar, and I wanted to know if you minded if I put your icon on there, and linked to you? I was just wondering. :)

Jocelyn how do you make a blog ad link to your blog on the sidebar? Can you please give me instructions?
Did you know that you and Rachel started blogging on St. Patricks day? I think it is; I can’t remember if it is the 17th for you Americans or us Aussies (time difference wise).

Since I am completly helpless where my template is concerned, can I just put the graphic in a post and make it stay at the top of the page?

Hey!
Wow! Your 2nd Blogoversary!?! How cool! Congrats!
No, that wasn’t me on the avatar. :)Yeah, Sarah talks about you. Don’t worry, it’s all good things! :)
Umm. . . How come you won’t be allowed to come read my blog anymore? Oh! And speaking, well, typing about blogs, I really like yours! It’s so pretty!
Well, hope you have a wonderfully blessed day!
talk to you later,

Congrats! You are one of the pillars of the blogging community, and are always fun to have you around!
You asked me a while back if you could include my blog in the Homesteading Carnival. I tried to comment on your blog that day and say YES; but my computer was acting up and would not let me comment. Then I forgot, and life went on… I came across that comment again, and am attempting a “Take II” with my comment.
So, once again, I would love to be a part of the Homesteading Carnival.
If you are willing to do dishes, I will cook cakes for you all the day long! (I hate doing dishes!)

HAPPY BLOGIVERSARY!!
May I join the party?! WOW! Two years??
Congratulations!
By the way I have a question, how are the prizes given? Do we have to sign up for one or more?
Thanks!
God bless You!

PS May I have your banner?

RYC…I was endorsing the conditional security side of the matter, not the “once saved always saved.” Very interesting topic to study!
So I guess I have until the 22nd to join in the blog party fun? I will try to get a post up when the opportunity presents itself!

If we started blogging at about the same time, how is it you have a bazillion more comments than I do? Oh well, you also have more posts…
Go ahead and get me some jam, and put me on a roll. Strawberry, if you please!
Yes, I did my own template. Took me quite a while to get it where I was willing to put it up. It didn’t turn out to bad. Wish I could take credit for the avatar, that was Gustave Flaubert. It is one of my favorite paintings. St. George and the Dragon. I am a Pre-Raphaelite fan…

Hey Girl!
Sorry about the SSA thing. *blushes* I was hoping that the e-mail address wouldn’t show on your side of the computer. lol! I don’t know what I was thinking. ^_^ But I guess I do use a lot of the same smiley faces. lol!
Congrats on the bolgoversary! Nice party!! ^_^ I’ll have reached one year of blogging on the 7 of April. So that’s exciting for me! lol!
I was wondering what you meant when you wrote my sister that comment. What’s wrong with her avatar? I didn’t know that you went on her blog. And what did you mean that one of your brothers might walk in and see. Did you mean that they might see her blog? And why won’t you be able to go on her blog anymore?…..Just wondering. ^_^
Happy Easter!
Sarah

Thanks for the comment! I don’t know if you read my first post, but I’ve been to your blog before as anonymous! I think I commented once on your old LotR blog, but I’ve not commented here before.
Happy blogoversary to you and your family! I knew you were really into blogging, but 7 blogs? WOW! I ’specially like your Hobbit template blog! My hobbit name is Rosy Posy Bracegirdle of Hardbottle, or something like that- I don’t quite remember!
