Shabbat Baby

This Lord’s Day today, beginning from last night, was a definitely blessing and a day of rest! We waiting all day yesterday for the arrival of Samuel Ira. This Shabbat has been the best thus far! Praise Yahweh-God for his love and kindness and blessings of life! I just wanted to get on here, post my praise, and let you all know how Yahweh blessed us [again] this week! I pray your Lord’s Day was just as blessed mine!

LOL Would you believe me if I told you that I have checked all of your blogs about 10 times today, hoping for pictures?? I’m silly I know – I am so excited! I wish you lived closer – I would be begging to come visit you all just as soon as we are all well (some of my family have a cold right now).

I promise I shall do my best to be patient for the pictures … I know what it’s like to have a new baby in the house … I love Samuel’s name by the way! :D

CONGRATULATIONS! That is awesome. Haha, I was so hoping that he wouldn’t be left nameless for three suspenseful weeks or however long Lucy had to wait :P Love it, it fits in nicely with the rest of your names too. What does Ira mean? I know it’s “anger” in Latin but I’m guessing that’s not what you were thinking of ;)

    Miss Jocelyn's Reply:

Ira is Hebrew and it means Watchful. Ira was King David’s priest, 1 Samuel 20:26. It’s also a family name, but we choose it for both reasons.

That’s it!! I knew Ira was in the Bible – I just couldn’t remember where!! :D

    How wonderful!
Good choice on the names! Samuel is one of my favourite boy’s names, and it can be shortened to Sam, which is also a name I like… Ira is not a name I’ve heard very often, but I like it – it has a nice sound to it. :)
And I chime in with the choir that looks forward to pictures!
