We Fall Down
Posted By Miss Jocelyn Tzahala on May 23, 2009 | Category: Saturday Psalm & Praise
How often do we truly fall down at the feet of Yeshua and just cry holy, holy, holy? We are too worried about what we want and need, that we often miss the time to give Him the reverence and respect He deserves and commands us to give. When was the last time you went to His feet, with an open heart, and let His Spirit lead you? In relationships, in conflicts, in the WORD, in traditions, in times, in studies, in clothes, etc. We have so many different ways to live our lives today because everyone must be comfortable and they must do as their hearts lead. It’s time to stop letting your heart lead you and let the Messiah lead your heart. It’s time to fall down at His feet.
We fall down
We lay our crowns
At the feet of JesusThe greatness of
Mercy and love
At the feet of JesusWe cry holy, holy, holy
We cry holy, holy, holy
We cry holy, holy, holy
Is the lambWe fall down
We lay our crowns
At the feet of JesusThe greatness of
Mercy and love
At the feet of JesusWe cry holy, holy, holy
We cry holy, holy, holy
We cry holy, holy, holy
Is the lambWe cry holy, holy, holy
We cry holy, holy, holy
We cry holy, holy, holy
Is the lambMy Jesus, I love you
I know thou are mine
To thee all the
follies of sin I
resign
My gracious redeemer
My savior, art thou
If ever I loved you
My Jesus, tis now.
Who is leading you? Who’s feet are you truly falling at? Are you falling right at His feet or mils away because that’s as close as you will allow yourself to get? Put away the teachings and ways you’ve been brought up with and search out what Adonai intended for His people. Let nothing be between you and His Feet.
Shalom Shabbat!

This is one of my favorite choruses. That is the posture we need to take more often because it is not about me but it is all about Him. Thanks for reminding me of that. :)

Miss Jocelyn,
I’m doing a Hymn Project this summer —just because I want to. You can read more about it at this address on my blog: http://www.semicolonblog.com/?p=5145
But basically, I’m asking you to send me a list of your ten favorite hymns. List these hymns in your order of preference. So your #1 hymn would be the one you feel is the best, and so on. I will be giving your first choice 10 points, your second choice 9 points, and so on. Submit your list to me at sherryDOTearlyATgmailDOTcom. Write “Hymn Survey” in the subject line.
If you like, you can submit a justification for each hymn. Or you can send me a link to an audio or video version online. Include the name of the hymn’s author or lyricist and the composer of the melody you prefer if at all possible, especially if you think I might be unfamiliar with your particular hymn. At the beginning of June I will tally up the totals, and I will pull from the submitted pieces why one reader or another liked a particular hymn (naming the reader, of course). That way we’ll be able to hear from a whole bunch of people why they love one hymn or another. I will then count down from 100 to 1 on my blog over the course of the summer the top choices of what folks feel the best hymns of all time are.
Thanks,
Sherry

Amazingly true and so easy to forget!
The other day we had a two day youth conference at our church and the main topic was “The Heart”. The speaker taught about how so many people think that your heart is what should be leading you, but we, as Christians, must understand that unless Jesus first takes control of that heart, all it will do is lead us astray!
Blessings! Luv you bunches! Keep up with the great posts, but DO post something about you (with some pictures and stuff). Or what about those darling little siblings of yours?
Talk to you VERY soon!

And as we think of His holiness, we are inspired to be holy, as He is holy.
Have you ever read the book, “Holiness” by Nancy Leigh DeMoss? A powerful book. (It’s part of her trilogy – “Holiness,” “Brokenness,” and “Surrender.”)
Bless you for focusing our minds and hearts in the right places.

That is a beautiful song! There is something so intensely powerful about joining the angels and crying “Holy, holy, holy!” to the Lord. For some reason, songs that proclaim God’s holiness always seem to move my spirit on a deeper level. Maybe it’s because a lot of modern-day worship songs bring God down to our level, and make Him seem sort of small… but when you think about His Holiness– how pure, and big, and, well, GOD, He is– it is so humbling and so amazing that this great holy God would still love and care about us, die for us, and reach into our little, unholy lives every day.

Amazing song. It’s so easy to forget who we’re following. It makes me sad to think of how often I forget. Thank you for this reminder, dear friend :)

I have had a few times in life where the painful grief seemed so unbearable, that words or actions could not comfort, that I have turned on praise music and sang and cried and ended up on the floor, pouring my pain out to Him. When I hear or sing this song I think of that but I also think of what great joy it will be to lay my crown/s at His feet in Heaven. “What a day of rejoicing that will be”! Thanks for this reminder.
