Preach it, sistah! ^_^ Amen and amen…you can do everything you want to “please God”, but what He’s looking for is your obedience!! Seems to me that people rather tend to through in the whole “Torah’s done away with” speach right about when you mention the obedience part. =P

I mean that he’d rather have your complete obedience then all the sacrifices you could offer. He was not pleased with Saul’s sacrifices because he was not in complete obedience to His Will. I meant both.

Ditto, wonderful Sabbath devotion Jocelyn. :) I do have some questions tho. What do you mean by the Lord not wanting our sacrifices and offerings? And when you say the WORD, are you referring to the written word?

Please don’t get me wrong, I’m not wanting to argue with you, I’m just asking. :)

Wow! Great post Jocelyn! It’s very easy to forget that! I fall in this area sometimes…I too often will “do good” around the house, but skip my devotions in the morning! Very easy to get caught in that trap! Thank you for the reminder to be careful of this!
